Job summary

Genesis PrimeCare in Texarkana, TX is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support the healthcare team in a clinic setting. You will deliver high-quality patient care, administer immunizations, and educate patients of all ages according to clinical standards.

You will prepare patients for exams, document vital signs in the EMR, assist providers, coordinate referrals and medications, and help maintain supplies and equipment to ensure smooth patient

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• LVN license from TX or AR or CMA national certification.
• Unrestricted license to practice as LVN in Texas or Arkansas.
• One year of CMA/LVN patient-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and immunizations.
• Record vital signs and health information in the EMR.
• Support providers to ensure patient care and clinic flow.
• Coordinate referrals and prescribed medications.
• Maintain medical supplies, medications, and equipment.
• Document all care provided accurately.
