Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate, patient-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our Northwest Pediatrics team. The role involves rooming patients, recording vital signs, administering injections, urinalysis, and preparing procedure rooms.

Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, you will maintain aseptic technique, discard biohazard waste, stock supplies, and support documentation in adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of BLS Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with active certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA).
• Aware of cleaning standards and proper infection control.
• Able to relate well with others and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and urinalysis.
• Set up and clean procedure rooms for in-office procedures.
• Discharge biohazard and sharps waste properly.
• Stock supplies and maintain infection control standards.
