Job summary

Barbara Bush Children's Hospital at MaineHealth seeks a Research Coordinator I or II to coordinate pediatric clinical research and quality improvement projects via the Clinical Trials Office. You will support investigators, ensure regulatory compliance, and help with study materials and participant interactions.

The role involves IRB submissions, data management, and education of new investigators, with a hybrid schedule and travel across MHRI locations where needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates preferred or required within four years.
• Experience coordinating pediatric clinical research is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BBCH SA scholarly projects and member support.
• Assist in protocol writing and study documents (consent forms, CRFs, SOPs).
• Submit studies to the IRB and manage amendments and continuing review.
• Coordinate data entry, data management, regulatory oversight, and project management.
• Support grant-writing and educational activities; assist with data analysis.
• Teach investigators to use resources and learn new platforms (EDC, IRB systems).
