Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and oversee clinical research operations for all assigned trials. The role requires BSN and NJ RN licensure, with pediatric experience preferred.

You will work under the supervision of the principal investigator, ensuring protocol compliance, patient safety, and accurate data collection across multiple studies in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required; NJ RN license.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience or 1 year clinical nursing with 2 years clinical research experience.
• Adheres to ANA standards; strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist PI in preparation of proposed trials by reviewing protocols and coordinating resources.
• Ensure protocol revisions, informed consents, adverse events are submitted to IRB timely.
• Liaise between investigators and sub-investigators on regulatory issues.
• Collaborate on feasibility review and budgeting for studies.
• Recruit and evaluate potential study patients and schedule appointments.
• Educate patients on informed consent procedures and HIPAA authorization.
• Maintain accurate study records in EMR, trial management systems, and databases.
• Adhere to policies and participate in meetings and ongoing education.
