Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate and oversee clinical trial operations. The role reports to the principal investigator, ensuring compliant patient care across trials and managing regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• BSN required; post-2024 hires must have BSN
• Minimum 3 years clinical nursing or 1 year clinical nursing plus 2 years clinical research
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Responsibilities

• Assist PI with trial protocol review and resource coordination.
• Submit protocol revisions, informed consents, and SAEs to IRB.
• Act as liaison between investigators on regulatory issues.
• Collaborate with PI, CRC, and clinical team on feasibility and budgeting.
• Review studies and draft budgets with budget coordinator.
• Recruit and evaluate potential study patients; schedule visits.
• Educate patients about consent, HIPAA, and study procedures.
• Document patient medical history and study data in EMR and trial systems.
• Monitor patient progress and report adverse events and toxicities.
• Coordinate lab tests, radiology and other medical exams.
