Job summary

Achieve Beyond in NYC, NY is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to evaluate and provide services for children with special needs across home, school, and clinic settings. The position requires a NYS Clinical Psychologist license, a passion for children and families, and readiness to travel to cases.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license.
• Willingness to travel to assigned cases; able to work in home, school, and clinic settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather information for social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories; submit promptly.
• Write IFSP and/or IEP goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments based on observations and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the child’s primary language.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and submit records by deadlines.
