Achieve Beyond in NYC, NY is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to evaluate and provide services for children with special needs across home, school, and clinic settings. This role offers a flexible schedule and collaboration with a supportive team of supervisors and staff, with opportunities to work across multiple boroughs within the NYC metro area.

The position requires a NYS Clinical Psychologist license, a passion for children and families, and readiness to travel to cases.

Competenze

• Must have a passion for working with children and families.
• Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license.
• Willingness to travel to assigned cases; able to work in home, school, and clinic settings.

Mansioni

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather information for social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories; submit promptly.
• Write IFSP and/or IEP goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments based on observations and child needs.

Job Responsibilities For a Clinical Psychologist

• Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
• Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
• Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
• Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
• Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
• Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.

Requirements For a Clinical Psychologist

• Must have a passion for working with children and families!
• Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license
• Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
• Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
• The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
• The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
• The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Starting Rate: Per evaluation $166.00-$298.00

Compensation is determined based on experience and education and will be discussed during theClinical PsychologistJob interview process.
