Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital seeks a licensed pharmacist to advance clinical skills in a fast-paced pediatric environment. You will interact with neonatal and pediatric ICU teams, cardiology, oncology, and other specialties, supporting medication therapies, coding responses, and patient education.

The role emphasizes medication safety, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and direct patient care in a Magnet-recognized hospital with extensive pediatric programs.

Qualifications

• Requires a pharmacy degree and MO licensure.
• Experience in hospital/clinical setting preferred.
• Licensure as a Pharmacist (RPh) and MO Medication Therapy Services

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages workflow including oversight of technicians, interns and volunteers ensuring accuracy per procedures and regulations.
• Participates in departmental meetings and committees as appropriate.
• Provides medication therapy services and drug information to staff.
• Evaluates medication orders for appropriateness based on patient condition and therapies; documents actions.
