Loyola Medicine, part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for neonatal to adolescent patients. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize therapy, ensure safety, and support evidence-based practice.

The role may include supervising students and residents, participating in research and quality projects, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Licensed Pharmacist in the State of Illinois.
• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD); Board Certified Pediatric Pharmacy Specialist (BCPPS) preferred.
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm).
• Residency: PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct patient care through medication therapy management and clinical pharmacy services.
• Reviews, verifies, and monitors medication orders for safety and efficacy.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and develops pharmacotherapy recommendations.
• Educates patients, families, and staff on therapies and safety measures.
• Contributes to development of clinical guidelines and order sets.
