Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatrics for the overnight shift to join an interdisciplinary inpatient care team. You will deliver pediatric pharmacotherapy management to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient therapies and actively participate in bedside emergencies with expertise in medication selection, preparation, and history review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree required.
• ASHP Accredited Residency training program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive pediatric medication therapy management as part of an interdisciplinary inpatient care team to ensure safe, effective, and cost-effective drug therapy.
• Participate in bedside medical emergencies, providing expertise in medication selection, preparation, procurement, documentation, and medication history review.
• Teach and precept Pharmacy Residents and PharmD students through structured experiences and didactic education.
• Engage in rounds, medication reconciliation, therapy monitoring, order verification, and patient/caregiver education.
