Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy or completion of foreign equivalency examination.
• Registered Pharmacist and Controlled Substance licensures in the State of Michigan obtained within 3 months of entry into job.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients and health care providers to deliver high quality care.
• Review prescriptions as written by authorized prescribers to determine safety and appropriateness.
• Counsel patients on current drug therapy and provide educational materials.
• Assign, educate, and supervise support personnel in preparation of medications and related duties.
• Ensure ongoing inventory and storage compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
