Qualifikationen

• Previous Specialty Pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.
• Current schedule is Monday-Friday 8AM to 4:30PM with shifts subject to change to meet business needs.

Aufgaben

• Reviews and manages medication orders for therapeutic appropriateness based on age, weight, height, laboratory values (where appropriate) and other patient data.
• Verifies and enters medication orders into management systems, ensuring patient safety and accurate dispensing.
• Assesses and formulates medication therapy recommendations to clinicians and supports operational medication management.
• Supervises technical staff and coordinates daily workflow to ensure accurate preparation and dispensing.
• Acts as liaison between pharmacy and medical/nursing staff for medication management and discharge services.
• Provides patient and caregiver education and counseling for outpatient medications.
