Job summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide safe, evidence-based pharmaceutical care across pediatric services at our downtown Orlando campuses. The role supports both Arnold Palmer and Winnie Palmer Hospitals, participates in rounds, manages drug information, and ensures policy-guided pharmacotherapy.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science or PharmD) is required.
• Must be licensed by the Florida Board of Pharmacy, renewed every two years.
• Hospital experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates an understanding of safety, emergency and risk management procedures.
• Dispenses medications and intravenous fluids utilizing the medication dispensing system according to scientific principles and Orlando Health policy and procedures.
• Documents on appropriate forms and in systems consistent with guidelines, defined standards of care and practice, and the quality improvements program.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds if applicable at their site of practice.
