Job summary

Arbor Therapy in Chandler, AZ seeks a Director of Clinical Excellence & Development to lead clinician development, onboarding, mentorship, and student rotations across our growing organization.

This is a full-time clinical leadership role focused on scaling evidence-based practice, clinician engagement, and nurturing a future pediatric clinician pipeline, while not overseeing billing or financial operations. The position offers a leadership path across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona license as an OT or SLP.
• Minimum 5 years pediatric clinical experience; 7+ preferred.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, supervising, or developing clinicians.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Experience developing onboarding, training, competency, mentorship, or professional-development programs preferred.
• Student supervision or clinical rotation experience preferred.
• Multi-site leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communicator who can build relationships across disciplines and locations.
• Systems-minded leader who can turn ideas into scalable programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence and development initiatives across Arbor Therapy locations.
• Direct clinician onboarding, competency frameworks, and scalable training resources.
• Manage clinician mentorship programs and professional growth initiatives.
• Oversee student clinical rotations and evaluate performance and culture fit.
• Enhance clinician engagement, retention, and cross-location collaboration.
