Job summary

Arbor Therapy is seeking a Director of Clinical Excellence & Development to lead clinician development, onboarding, mentorship, and student rotations across our growing pediatric-focused organization.

The role calls for an experienced OT or SLP with strong leadership, collaboration, and systems-thinking skills to elevate clinical practice and create scalable, repeatable development programs across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• This role requires an active Arizona license as an Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum 5 years of pediatric clinical experience; 7+ years preferred.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, supervising, or developing clinicians.
• Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills.
• Experience developing onboarding, training, competency, mentorship, or professional-development programs.
• Student supervision or clinical rotation experience preferred.
• Multi-site leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong communicator who can build relationships across disciplines, locations, and leadership levels.
• A systems-minded leader who can turn great ideas into scalable programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical excellence and development across Arbor Therapy locations.
• Strengthen onboarding, training resources, and competency frameworks.
• Create scalable clinician development systems to support growth.
• Support mentorship, retention, and professional growth for clinicians.
• Oversee student rotations and align mentors with learning needs and settings.
• Partner with HR and clinical leaders to identify future clinical leaders.
