Arkansas Children’s Hospital is seeking a Clinical Educator (RN) to partner with a Professional Development Specialist in providing education and training to staff in the assigned area. You will lead orientation for new staff, ongoing professional development, and ensure competency across a busy pediatric clinical setting.

• Assesses learner characteristics and develops education programs.
• Provides consultation and support to leadership and staff on orientation and competency.
• Plans and delivers just-in-time training for educational needs.
• Develops and evaluates staff competencies.
• Functions as teacher and facilitator in education initiatives.
• Uses performance improvement to assess effectiveness of education.
• Integrates nationally recognized guidelines into clinical practice.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses learner characteristics including learning styles and needs for program development.
• Provides consultation, guidance and support to leadership, preceptors and/orientees, and collaborates with healthcare team.
• Provides just in time training as educational needs arise.
• Develops, implements and evaluates staff competencies.
• Functions as both teacher and facilitator.
• Restructures education plan based on evaluation for programs and projects.
• Uses organizational strategic plan to determine educational priorities.
• Plans and implements programs and projects using innovation and creativity.
• Practices cost effective use of resources and recommends improved utilization.
• Collaborates with educators and staff to develop orientation programs and education plans.
• Utilizes performance improvement to evaluate education effectiveness.
• Integrates scope and standards of guidelines into clinical practice.
