Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for outpatient care in the BPD Clinic. This three-day-per-week position includes a weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

You will apply the Nutrition Care Process, provide direct medical nutrition therapy, educate on healthy nutrition and disease prevention, and coordinate community and school programs while representing the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
• Licensed RD in Ohio.
• AND registration or Ohio licensure to practice dietetics; RD exam within 3 months after employment.

Responsibilities

• Applies the Nutrition Care Process and workflow elements in providing person-centered nutrition care of patients.
• Provides education on healthy nutrition, obesity and disease prevention, as well as other topics.
• Coordinates programs and projects in schools, the community and hospital, representing Nationwide Children’s Hospital and developing partnerships.
