Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a full-time Float Clinical Dietitian to support inpatient and outpatient areas with a weekend and holiday on-call rotation.

The role provides Medical Nutrition Therapy across the continuum of care, applying the Nutrition Care Process and delivering nutrition education on healthy eating, obesity prevention, and disease management to diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in Ohio is required.
• AND RD registration or Ohio licensure with RD exam within 3 months after employment.

Responsibilities

• Applies the Nutrition Care Process and workflow elements in providing person-centered nutrition care of patients.
• Provides education on healthy nutrition, obesity and disease prevention, as well as other topics.
• Coordinates programs and projects in schools, the community and hospital, representing Nationwide Children’s Hospital and developing strong community partnerships.
