Job summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children invites a pediatric Clinical Registered Dietitian (RD) to join the Endocrinology team.

You will provide medical nutrition therapy for pediatric patients in hospital and outpatient settings, perform nutrition assessments, and participate in diabetes management and nutrition support protocols. The position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, EMR order entry, and ongoing staff education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition with RD credential (CDR) and PA licensure (LDN).
• Two years related paid clinical experience in pediatrics; diabetes management preferred.
• Specialty CNSC certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Board certification in Diabetes Education (CDE or CDCES) preferred. All credentials, PDP and licensure must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments and diagnose nutrition-related problems.
• Implement targeted interventions and monitor outcomes via the Nutrition Care Process.
• Participate in EMR order entry for nutrition support and education programs.
• Contribute to performance improvement and outcome research activities.
• Support ongoing professional development and learning environment.
