Job summary

St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia seeks an experienced pediatric Clinical Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide medical nutrition therapy to pediatric patients on the medical-surgical floors.

The Clinical Dietitian I will perform nutrition assessments, diagnose nutrition problems, implement interventions, and monitor outcomes using the Nutrition Care Process, with education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and RD credential.
• Pennsylvania licensure (LDN) required.
• One year pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• CNSC certification required or to be obtained within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy to pediatric patients.
• Perform nutrition assessments and diagnose nutrition problems.
• Develop and implement nutrition interventions; monitor outcomes.
• Educate patients and families; participate in staff and student education.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses; contribute to performance improvement.
