Rocking Horse Community Health Center in Springfield, OH is seeking a Pediatric Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist to join our team. This full-time role supports the pediatric clinic by obtaining vital signs, recording medical history, and updating the EHR to ensure accurate patient information.

The position requires proficiency in performing blood draws on children under 2 years of age, along with basic lab tasks and adherence to universal precautions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; certificate in medical assisting or phlebotomy.
• Ohio driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in blood draws on children under 2 years old.
• Experience in a patient-care setting and EMR knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Obtain vital signs and medical history; update EHR.
• Perform blood draws on children under 2 years old.
• Conduct routine tests to prepare for patient visits.
• Assist in pediatric clinical area to maintain efficient workflow.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control.
