Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Bountiful Clinic to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in an outpatient setting under physician supervision.

The RN will use the nursing process, evidence-based practice, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure safe, effective care. Minimum qualifications include an active RN license, BLS for healthcare providers, and setting-specific certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• ACLS or PALS certifications as required by setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• If RN with less than 12 months of experience, must obtain BSN within four years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, social and psychological status.
• Plan and develop individualized care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Implement care and coordinate with physicians and staff.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
