MercyOne Grimes Pediatrics Care seeks an experienced Clinic RN to provide high-quality outpatient patient care in a collaborative setting. You will coordinate care with the clinical team, administer medications, and support patient and family education.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, vital signs, documentation in EMR, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. A Iowa RN license and BLS are required, with a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Iowa RN license and BLS certification.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and EMR documentation.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Provide outpatient patient care and coordinate with clinical staff.
• Administer medications and treatments via multiple routes.
• Perform nursing care, labs, phlebotomy and limited radiology tasks.
• Assist providers with patient care, scheduling, admissions, and referrals.
• Communicate with physicians, staff, patients, families, and teams about care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatments and discharge instructions.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and risk management.
• Maintain EMR documentation and ensure accuracy of records.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; report malfunctions.
• Respond to urgent/emergency patient needs and initiate procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and policies in line with Trinity Health standards.
