Job summary

MultiCare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse who will function independently using the nursing process and coordinate care across the lifespan. The RN collaborates with patients, families, Physicians/APPs, and care staff to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or achieved within five years from hire date
• Advanced degree (MSN/PhD/DNP/ARNP) preferred
• RN license in Washington State or multi-state licensure
• Current BLS Certification required
• Advanced Life Support may be required after hire depending on site
• Two years of RN experience in a clinic setting preferred
• Transition to Practice program may be available for less experienced candidates

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care
• Independently triages patients in person, by phone and via secure messages
• Applies critical thinking to patient care decisions with relevant standards and data
• Delivers medical regimens as directed by physicians/APPs
• Delegates patient care functions to appropriately trained staff
• Collaborates with the clinic team to improve quality of care and patient experience
• Fosters a learning environment for patients, families and staff
• Advocates for ethical and holistic care for diverse patient populations
