Job summary

Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, WA is hiring a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time day shift (M-F), 1.0 FTE. Eligible RNs receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The RN will assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing functions across lifespans, collaborating with patients, families, physicians, APPs, and care staff. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent within five years, WA RN license or MSL endorsement, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years from hire date.
• Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or MSLE endorsement.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Two years of RN experience in a clinic setting preferred.
• Advanced Life Support certification may be required after hire depending on site.
• Internal candidates or those with 15+ years may be considered to satisfy education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate nursing care.
• Independently triage patients in person, by phone, and via secure messages.
• Perform clinical decisions with guidance from physicians and APPs.
• Delegate care using staff education and demonstrated competence.
• Collaborate with clinic team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients and families.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
