Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to join Lakeside Pediatrics in southeastern Wisconsin. The RN will perform telephone triage, respond to MyChart messages, handle paperwork, complete prior authorizations, and provide in-person and telephonic education to patients and families.

The Clinic RN supports clinic flow by stepping in as a medical assistant when needed; the team includes five physicians and two Behavioral Health Clinicians in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN scope includes telephone triage and patient education.
• Experience with pediatric patients preferred.
• Ability to delegate and coordinate care across clinic staff.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to policies and HIPAA, maintains patient confidentiality.
• Performs RN duties and in-person clinical care as needed.
• Notifies provider of patients needing immediate assistance.
• Collaborates with disciplines to coordinate assessment and care.
• Documents per nursing standards in EHR.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care across patient population.
