Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a clinic operations support professional to assist the Pediatric Specialties ACU, coordinating between physicians, providers, staff and patients to ensure smooth medical care delivery.

You will train new staff, maintain strong rapport with patients and teams, and participate in Lean in Daily Work (LIDW) for continuous quality improvement. Hybrid or flexible work arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years experience in a large healthcare system.
• Proficient with EMR and standard office software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage stress and work in a team.
• Demonstrated active listening and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic operational support to the Pediatric Specialties ACU.
• Coordinate communication between physicians, providers, staff and patients.
• Train new staff on clinical support operations.
• Maintain excellent rapport with patients, faculty and staff.
• Participate in Lean in Daily Work (LIDW) continuous improvement.
• Provide backup coverage for other PSI roles as identified by leadership.
