Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) is seeking a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Highland Pediatrics to keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently for patients and the clinical team.

You will lead on patient chart preparation, manage care for multiple patients, and collaborate with physicians to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow. CPR certification and GA licensure are required, with 1 year of clinic or acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited practical nursing program.
• At least 1 year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience.
• Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in GA.
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to the specialty of the practice.
• Collects patient data such as vital signs; notes patient appearance and response to stimuli.
• Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests, treats wounds, and changes bandages.
• Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms and documentation practices.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Highland Pediatrics , you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You'll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.
