Job summary

CommonSpirit Medical Group (Mountain Management Services) supports Highland Pediatrics by providing a Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to keep patient care running smoothly. The role focuses on chart preparation, coordination with clinicians, and ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.

The LPN will perform basic nursing tasks, collect data, prepare injections, manage records, and monitor responses to treatment, contributing to compassionate, efficient care in a busy pediatric

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing from an accredited program is required at hire.
• Minimum 1 year of clinic or acute hospital nursing experience at hire.
• Licensed Practical Nurse license in GA at hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing care following established standards.
• Provide nursing care related to the practice's specialty as needed.
• Collect patient data such as vital signs and observations and report findings.
• Prepare and administer injections, routine tests, wounds and dressings.
• Prepare patient records using forms and electronic systems.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment progress.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Highland Pediatrics , you'll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You'll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. Every day, you'll manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others, work efficiently, and your empathy for our patients.

• Performs basic nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.
• Collects patient data such as vital signs; notes how the patient looks and acts, or responds to stimuli, and reports this information accordingly.
• Prepares and administers injections, performs routine tests, treats wounds, and changes bandages.
• Prepares patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
• Administers certain prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.
