The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks candidates for an Assistant/Associate/Professor of Clinical Pediatrics-Pulmonology (Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Medical Director) in the Department of Pediatrics. This is a full-time statewide role based in Peoria, IL.

Ideal candidates are board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology with leadership experience, eligible for IL medical licensure, and committed to education and scholarly activity within a CF center

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree is required.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Board certified in Pediatrics.
• Board certified in Pediatric Pulmonology.
• 3 years Pediatric Residency/3 years Fellowship-Pediatric Pulmonology.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, diagnostic and treatment services to children with cystic fibrosis and other pulmonary conditions.
• Contribute to educational programs for medical students and residents.
• Lead and collaborate with the CF center team and department leadership.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives for the clinic.

Education
