Job summary

The University of Virginia seeks a faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level to lead the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program. This role combines clinical care, teaching, and research within the Division of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at UVA Children’s Hospital.

Ideal candidates will direct CF services, participate in Pediatric Pulmonology rounds and clinics, and drive quality improvement initiatives while maintaining an active portfolio of clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in pediatric pulmonary medicine; MD or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program and oversee clinical operations.
• Contribute to inpatient and outpatient pediatric pulmonology activities.
• Involve in teaching, quality improvement, and advocacy within UVA Children’s Hospital.
• Maintain active portfolio of clinical trials and collaborate with research teams.
