Therapy World LLC in Charlotte, NC, with Rock Hill SC, seeks a Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. You will deliver high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services under an OT's supervision.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, educate families, and collaborate with schools to support child development. We offer a supportive environment and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Active COTA licensure in NC and SC.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience with pediatric populations.
• Knowledge of sensory integration or NDT is a plus.
• Strong communication with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement pediatric OT treatment plans for pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed OT.
• Provide hands-on interventions targeting fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and developmental skills.
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating treatment notes and goals accordingly.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, families, caregivers, and school personnel to support each child's development.
• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies.
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Knowledge of sensory integration, NDT, or other pediatric therapy frameworks is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity standards
