Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for West Park Pediatrics in New Jersey. The CMA will support providers, help prepare patients, and maintain accurate electronic medical records to ensure smooth, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• CMA credential required (AAMA, AECA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NCMA, or NHA).
• Experience: minimum 6 months CMA experience preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records, Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams: vital signs, histories, and comfort.
• Assist physicians during exams and procedures.
• Administer injections and collect specimens within scope.
• Document patient info, test results, and instructions in EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and exam room readiness.
• Educate patients on medications, plans, and follow-ups.
