Ascension’s Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Nights | Full-time Nurse Leader for the Pediatric CCU. You will oversee shift leadership, coordinate nursing staff, and ensure high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced pediatric unit.

Required RN licensure with the Texas Board of Nursing, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of cumulative pediatric CCU experience. Leadership experience is preferred and critical for success in this role.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas (Texas Board of Nursing) required.
• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date required, with American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Pediatric CCU leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, assign, and monitor nursing staff during shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care.
• Manage daily patient/physician dynamics, address clinical complaints, and maintain productivity standards.
• Ensure availability of equipment, materials, and supplies for optimal unit function.
• Oversee shift education, and participate in hiring, training, development, and performance evaluation of unit personnel.
