Job summary

Corewell Health’s Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a dedicated team member to assist RN staff in pediatric patient care. You’ll perform basic clinical tasks, monitor vitals, and support families in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include vitals, glucose checks, hygiene assistance, mobility support, wound care, and safe patient handoffs. AHA/BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals and monitor patient condition.
• Check blood sugars as ordered and document observations.
• Provide bed baths and assist with ambulation and wound care.
• Assist with catheterization as directed and act as safety attendant.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation as per unit guidelines.
