Job summary

ChildServe in Johnston, Iowa, is seeking a dedicated RN Appointment Coordinator responsible for coordinating appointments and communication with families and physicians on the Adolescent/Young Adult Complex Medical unit. The role also involves overseeing the vaccine program and providing nursing services to children.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years nursing experience in pediatrics or developmental disabilities.
• Experience in care coordination and program facilitation preferred.
• Ability to perform light physical tasks like bending and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of children's appointments and related physician communication.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation and prior authorizations.
• Oversee the vaccine program for inpatient children and assist Care Coordinator as needed.
