This position is full time, days. The shift is 7:30am - 4pm, at Riley Children's Hospital.

Responsibilities include:

• Cardiac rhythm-based technical support for Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services, including recording and processing 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKG), continuous monitoring of patient cardiac rhythms, and reporting of critical information (cardiac surveillance).
• Review of 24- and 48-hour rhythm recordings and compiling reports for physician review (ambulatory monitoring).
• Monitoring patient's rhythm and status and operating equipment during exercise testing (stress testing).
• Supporting IV services by acting as a second-tier source for starting IVs and drawing labs.

Minimum requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Preferred coursework in EKG, rhythm interpretation, anatomy, physiology, or related fields.
• Experience as an EKG technician, Cardiac Surveillance Technician, EMT, Cardiovascular Technician, Phlebotomist, Paramedic, or related role.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Knowledge of electrocardiograph procedures and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and troubleshoot equipment issues.
