Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery is required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Thoracic Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care for neonates, children, and adults with congenital heart disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in the Division's congenital heart surgery call schedule, including transplant and mechanical circulatory support services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes across a broad range of congenital heart conditions.
• Contribute to clinical research, quality initiatives, scholarly activity, and publication.
