Baylor College of Medicine's Division of Congenital Heart Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston is seeking a Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our nationally recognized program.

The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in transplant and VAD support, contribute to research and education, and mentor trainees while advancing patient care across neonates to adults with congenital heart disease.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
  • Completion of an accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Thoracic Surgery/Cardiothoracic Surgery.
  • Eligibility for an unrestricted Texas medical license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive surgical care for neonates, children, and adults with congenital heart disease in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Participate in congenital heart surgery call schedule, including transplant and mechanical circulatory support services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes across a broad range of congenital heart conditions.
  • Contribute to academic mission through clinical research, quality initiatives, scholarly activity, and publication.
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
