Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required or foreign equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Cardiology.
• Completion of pediatric residency.
• Completion of Cardiac Intensive Care fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Washington.
• If from a foreign medical school, must show USMLE steps completion.

Responsibilities

• Stabilization and longitudinal management of pediatric, adolescent, and young adult patients with congenital and acquired heart disease.
• Management of patients on ECMO and with ventricular assist devices.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Cardiac ICU team.
• Engage in teaching, research, and clinical service for UW Medicine.
• Attend to duties within a 12-month service period and participate in program activities.

Education
