We are looking for a board-certified/eligible pediatric cardiologist committed to a career in academic Pediatric Cardiology, preferably with advanced training in cardiac imaging, to join us as an Echo Attending.

Our ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a team. We are particularly interested in applicants with research experience and an interest in trainee education. The candidate must be an outstanding clinician dedicated to caring for hospitalized children and their families, and an excellent teacher of learners at all levels. Candidates should preferably have completed an additional year of advanced imaging training and have experience with transesophageal and fetal echocardiograms, with potential opportunities in cross-sectional imaging for those with cross-sectional training.

Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient cardiology services.

Division Overview

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at CHAM is growing and includes specialists in fetal cardiology, heart failure and transplant, pulmonary hypertension, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, cardiac intensive care, preventive cardiology, and adult congenital heart disease. The division has an ACGME-accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship program with four fellows and rotating residents. Our offices are located in the Bronx and Westchester, providing over 9,000 consultation and follow-up visits annually, including 400 adult congenital heart disease visits.

About CHAM

CHAM is a quaternary care, academic children's hospital in New York City, serving a diverse patient population across the Bronx, Westchester County, and the Hudson Valley. All division members hold faculty appointments at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a major biomedical and clinical research center. The Bronx offers vibrant community life, excellent cuisine, a world-renowned zoo, botanical gardens, and proximity to Westchester County, midtown Manhattan, and Northern New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $250,000-$325,000, commensurate with academic rank, with potential for additional earnings through clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. Our benefits package includes a 403b plan with employer match, 457 plan, tuition reimbursement, disability insurance, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental, and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities. We are an equal opportunity employer, encouraging candidates from underrepresented, minority, or disadvantaged groups to apply.
