Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Cardiology, and Comer Children's Hospital are seeking full-time faculty members at any rank on a non-tenure eligible track in pediatric cardiology. Academic rank and compensation, including fringe benefits, will be determined by qualifications.

Responsibilities include outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, procedures, and reading cardio-diagnostic testing as applies to the specialty field.

Qualifications

• Medical doctorate or equivalent; eligible for medical licensure in Illinois and Indiana.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Fellowship completed in pediatric cardiology or subspecialty.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations and procedures.
• Reading cardio-diagnostic testing as applies to pediatric cardiology.
• Training and supervision of trainees and students within the Chicagoland Children's Health Alliance Heart Cardiovascular service line.
