Job summary

University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a Pediatric & Congenital Electrophysiologist to join the pediatric cardiology faculty in Peoria, IL. The role covers inpatient, outpatient, and interventional care with academic responsibilities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for licensure in Illinois.
• BC/BE in Pediatric Cardiology.
• 3 years pediatric residency and 3 years pediatric cardiology fellowship or equivalent.
• Significant experience or formal training in Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Patient care: inpatient, outpatient, and interventional duties.
• Satellite clinics in the region.
• Device checks in person and remote.
• On-call duties for pediatric cardiology and EP.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Pursue academic efforts including original research and QI improvements.
• Administrative duties related to EP program.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
