Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital’s Division of Outpatient Cardiology seeks a compassionate healthcare assistant to support patient intake and clinical flow in the Waltham clinic with occasional rotation to the Boston clinic. You will collect and verify information, report changes to the RN, transport patients and supplies, and assist with daily operations during five eight-hour shifts from 8 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1 year CA experience or CNA, nursing student

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year CA experience, CNA certification, or nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Current BLS certification required, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and record information according to established procedures and instructions.
• Identify and report unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
• Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
• Working in the Waltham clinic, with occasional rotation to the Boston clinic. 5 eight-hour shifts Mon- Fri 8a-4:30pm.
