Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital in Boston, MA, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the Outpatient Cardiology program. You will collect and verify information, report changes to the RN, and transport patients and supplies across Waltham and Boston clinics.

Role requires a HS diploma, 1 year CA experience or CNA certification, or a nursing student with clinical rotations, plus current or soon-to-be BLS certification. Schedule is five 8-hour shifts Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 1 year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Current BLS certification required, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

Department Summary:
Boston Children's Division of Outpatient Cardiology is one of the world's oldest, largest, and most experienced pediatric programs.

Our clinic provides comprehensive evaluation and coordinated care for infants, children, and adults with various heart and heart-related illnesses, diseases, and conditions. We care for patients who have congenital heart disease and the congenital heart defects (CHDs) that it causes, conditions such as septal defects and tetralogy of Fallot. We also care for those who have acquired heart disease - conditions such as cardiomyopathy and hypertension.

Key responsiblities

Minimum qualifications

Education

A HS Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

1-year CA experience, CNA certification, or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation. Direct patient care experience preferred.

Certification

Current BLS certification required, or certification must be obtained within three months of hire.

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
