Job summary

Nemours Children’s Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a General Pediatric Cardiologist to join our expanding team. The role focuses on congenital and acquired heart disease in children, with opportunities to develop preventive cardiology or exercise physiology programs within a multidisciplinary pediatric cardiac center.

Qualified candidates will have MD/DO or international equivalent, completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology, and board certification or

Qualifications

• MD/DO or international equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care.
• Grow a program in preventive cardiology or exercise physiology within the pediatric cardiology center.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered care.
• Participate in departmental meetings, care coordination, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support growth of Nemours Cardiac Center at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
• Engage in community outreach and program development.
