Job summary

Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida seeks an experienced Pediatric Cardiologist to establish a new outpatient location in Sebring. The clinic runs 4–5 days a week with an optional administrative day.

Home outpatient call coverage is expected, with no in-person call requirement. The role involves diagnosing and treating congenital and acquired pediatric heart conditions, delivering comprehensive outpatient care, and pursuing opportunities in community outreach and preventive cardiology

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or international equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Interest in preventive cardiology or exercise physiology.
• Florida medical license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired pediatric heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care.
• Opportunities exist for involvement in community outreach, patient education, and program development to advance preventive cardiology efforts.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or international equivalent (MBBS, MBChB, etc.) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
• Demonstrated expertise or strong interest in preventive cardiology or exercise physiology (additional fellowship training not required).
• Eligibility for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care, collaboration, and advancing children’s cardiovascular health.
