Job summary

Nemours Children's Hospital Florida seeks a Pediatric Cardiologist for a new Sebring outpatient location, to grow the office and provide essential pediatric cardiac care in the community.

The role involves diagnosing and treating congenital and acquired heart conditions in children, delivering outpatient care 4–5 days per week with an optional administrative day, and offering home call coverage for the region; collaboration with Nemours specialists supports preventive cardiology.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or international equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• Interest in exercise physiology or preventive cardiology encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care.
• Participate in community outreach, patient education, and program development to advance preventive cardiology.
• Collaborate across specialties to improve pediatric cardiovascular health.
