Job summary

The University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, seeks a pediatric cardiologist for a full-time, fixed-term clinical faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. Responsibilities include non-invasive imaging interpretation, outreach and telemedicine, and inpatient care.

Ideal candidates will be board eligible/certified in Pediatric Cardiology and have interest in ambulatory and inpatient cardiology; opportunities for clinical research and quality

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board-certified in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Interest in ambulatory and inpatient pediatric cardiology.
• Clinical research and quality improvement interests encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of non-invasive imaging.

Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine is recruiting for an open rank, fixed term clinical faculty position for the Division of Pediatric Cardiology. We are seeking a faculty member to join our growing Division to augment our team of non-invasive cardiologists in the expansion of subspecialty services. Primary responsibilities will include interpretation of non-invasive imaging, outreach and telemedicine, and inpatient care. Individuals with expertise in transesophageal imaging for surgical or catheterization interventions and/or advanced imaging experience are encouraged. Clinical research and quality improvement interests will be fostered. The faculty member will be involved in the educational mission of the School of Medicine.
