Job summary

Mayo Clinic Children’s – Pediatric CV Surgical & Transplant ICU is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate patient care in an 11-bed unit within the Mary Brigh Building. You’ll support family-centered care and work with a multidisciplinary team, with cross-unit opportunities.

TN sponsorship is available; active RN license and BLS required. Responsibilities include direct patient care, education, and transitions of care; pediatric critical care experience is preferred; shifts include days/nights

Qualifications

• RN license required and nursing degree from an accredited program.
• One year RN experience required.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment; ability to coordinate care.
• Computer skills with EMR experience preferred; ability to adapt to flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care, direct patient care, and patient/family education.
• Support transitions of care and continuity of care across practice settings.
• Provide leadership and participate in quality improvement efforts.
